My name is Alberto Talegon Castro and I'm a Spanish-born creative nomad. I’m currently helping brands and start-ups with their creative and strategic offerings after departing my role as Isobar Australia’s Creative Director, leading the agency’s creative efforts from its Melbourne office as well as helping shape the global brand as part of Isobar’s Global Creative Council.
I’ve been in advertising for over 15 years, working across three continents. In Spain, I worked at Ogilvy, Proximity BBDO and three-time Cannes Agency of the Year, Shackleton. I then moved to Vietnam as Phibious’ Regional Creative Director which, during this time, became the fastest-growing independent agency in South East Asia. It’s here that I led the team that created Coca-Cola’s global campaign for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
In Australia, I spent two years with The Royals—helping them become Independent Agency of the Year, before landing at Isobar.
I believe in stories born from creativity and ignited by technology. Over the years my work has been recognized at major award shows around the globe and my passion for ideas, people and the planet had led me to become the creative lead for Isobar Good. This global social impact initiative aims to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by partnering with brands on transformative initiatives to create a better future by design.
I also contribute to the industry by mentoring RMIT University students, lecturing for AWARD School and participating in Australia’s Communication Council initiatives.
